Pakistan hung to a resilient partnership between Younis khan and Akmal to clinch a series leveller against south africa in a exciting cricket test match which saw a result in 4 days. Set to chase 191 on a pitch which assisted seamers, Pakistan found themselves wanting with their heroes yousuf and captain inzi back in the pavilion. Akmal and younis khan then dug in with some excellent batting scoring at more than 4 runs per over to see pakistan home safely. South africas 124 in the first innings is where they lost the match, but their bowlers fought back magnificently to make a match out of that. Inzamam ul haq who took them to a commanding position in the first innings with a superb knock of 92 was declared man of the match. Pollock, ntini and nel continue to excel with their line and length. South africa is one tough team to beat in their home town. i look forward to them bouncing back in the following decider. The next one at cape town is to watch out for.
