Indians do it again..

indiadefwi“aberration: A departure from the normal or typical” is what i would describe the recent Indian victory. Without taking away any credit from the team, they achieved what was lest expected of them. To defend a low scoring total with the bowling attack which has come under pressure in recent times. A complete team performance saw them defeat west indies in another low scoring match where west indies lost wickets like there was no tomorrow. After a disastrous indian start which had them reeling for 69-6, even the most die hard fan of the team(me counted) would have slid under the desk. But karthik and agarkar, the least of men you would expect did the unevitable. With rugged determination they carried the team score far enough to allow a glimmer of hope once the scoreboard read 189. The indians then got back to business with a vengeance and produced some good cricket to have WI struggle to get the runs. Powar, tendulkar pegged back the batting which missed lara and exposed what was left of the brittle batting lineup. With gayle gone early, the responsibility was left with chanderpaul whose determined 67 was not enough as he ran out of partners.
