Thank you najeeb for your kind words. we are looking for buddding cricketers and would wish to profile both local players and matches. If we can also get volunteer writers who are willing to spend time providing coverage on this blog , that would be fantastic. please let me know if you do know any passionate writers who would be willing to help. Please register on this site so that i can convert this into a post for cricbloggers to view on the main page. thanks

Dear Altaf,
Salaam.
It was great to see you in HK sixes and I really appreciate your efforts for this cricblog, as also Najeeb mentioned and I am 100% agree with him. There were a big need of a completely fair and neutral forum to discuss about HK cricket International and local both.
Local junior cricket and especially school cricket is the most important for HK cricketing future. So far there is shortage of cricket coaches I think, currently there is not enough numbers of coaches who can totally and only commit to school and junior cricket, few are doing but they have some other commitments too.
So I would request, there should be coaching courses on regular basis and still lot of experience cricketers are in town but as they don’t have any proper qualification certificate to do coaching can help them to give their commitments and availability for our future cricketers. As many qualify coaches will be here, youngsters can be looked after better with more and proper attention.
I have played good level of domestic cricket in Pakistan, (Class A Match) but still looking to have any opportunity to do a coaching course so after that qualification I can be able to transfer my knowledge and experiences to the youngsters by doing coaching.
Its a quite heavy burden when you have something good with you and keep carrying for long time and cannot give to any one who is in need.
HKCA have been doing great for developing cricket in HK, just need a little more scrutiny to find out more people who can help them in their efforts in developments.
Best Regards,
Tauseef Bukhari.
